We built Katmai B&B to be more than a place to stay. We want to be your local friends in Alaska, the people who make a remote, hard-to-plan trip feel handled from the moment you land in King Salmon to the day you fly home. Here's everything that comes with a stay.
Every package includes
- A riverfront room, breakfast, and WiFi at our six-guest B&B.
- We get you out to Brooks Falls and back each day, with a backup if we can't fly.
- Airport pickup, and getting around King Salmon while you're here.
- One activity each full day: bear viewing at Brooks Falls, the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, or guided fishing on the Naknek.
- Full days at the falls, around eight hours at Brooks Camp when the weather allows.
- A real person who answers fast, helps you plan, and sorts out problems in real time when weather or a flight goes sideways.

Getting to Brooks Falls means stitching together flights, remote travel, lodging, and the weather all at once. We take that off your plate. From free trip-planning help to your round-trip out to Brooks included, getting around town, breakfast, wifi, and more. The logistics are ours, so the trip can be yours.

If we can't fly, we have a backup, so rough weather usually isn't the end of your day.
We get you into King Salmon and out to the falls, so you're never stuck figuring out how to get around.
A continental-style breakfast every morning, plus a coffee bar and snacks available all day.
Fast, free Starlink internet, useful out in the bush when you're coordinating flights and weather.
Your hosts live on-site and are a call or text away whenever you need them, from the moment you land to the day you fly home.
A maximum of six guests at a time, with hosts on site, means real personal attention, not a checked-in-and-forgotten hotel stay.

Katmai B&B grew out of a simple fishing operation that built a devoted following through close attention to detail and a willingness to help guests plan every piece of their Katmai experience regardless if they booked with us or not. Today we're the leader in helping visitors reach Brooks Falls, built around bear viewing and sightseeing, with deep local knowledge of the Naknek's fishing right outside.
